Eureka!!

I've figured it out! I don't know why I didn't try this weeks ago. I've used them before but for some reason it took me a while to come around.

EARPLUGS!!!

I popped a couple of those suckers in my ears last night and only woke up once!!! (it was just after 2, G had been fighting the good fight against Orcs and Goblins, so I used it as a good opportunity to P so I wouldn't wake myself up around 6am). Other than that...slept right through the footsteps above and the meowing cat outside my door. Didn't hear a peep! It was great.

Considering I went to bed at the unheard of hour of 10pm - for a Friday night? Come on!! But having 12 hours of sleeps is a godsend these days.
